When I finally decided to apply for membership to the Mayflower Society it was very apparent that I had not recorded my steps. I had to not only find the sources, but I had to retrace the whole lineage from the beginning. It was so difficult that now, even though I've been a member for years and now sit on the board, I am putting off submitting my ten other lineages to the Society. Shame on me!
